The Brandon Act

Allows active-duty service members stationed on any military base to self-initiate a confidential request for a mental health evaluation through any commanding officer or supervisor (E-6+) without disclosing clinical reasons or details.

Directly opens VA mental health, PTSD treatment programs, and trauma counseling to all post-9/11 combat and toxic-exposure veterans without requiring prior disability claim submission.
