📝 How to Prove an Employment Handicap (EH):

Under 38 CFR § 21.51, you qualify for VR&E when your service-connected disability interferes with your ability to perform your current job or previous career field.

Explain how physical pain (back/knees) makes standing or sitting for long periods impossible.
Explain how PTSD or anxiety makes high-stress or customer-facing environments unsustainable.
Submit VA Form 28-1900 online via VA.gov to initiate your counselor interview.
